Job Description

Community Integrated Care currently has a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Management Accountant to join the Finance Team based in Widnes. To ensure the quality provision of information and support is given to operational areas and other members of the finance team.

To assist in the production of accurate information, required to support charity decision making.

Key responsibilities

  • To assist in the preparation and review of the management accounts
  • Prepare and review the annual budget and forecasts for the charity
  • In conjunction with the Income team, ensure accurate recording of income for Community Integrated Care contracts.
  • To assist in the preparation and review of management information, together with investigation of variances, KPI completion and monitoring.
  • To work across the organization to monitor, control and report non-staff costs across the charity.
  • To support the Project and System Accountant in producing more meaningful and simpler dashboard reporting.
  • To assist the Head of Commercial Finance with information requests from the Executive team.
  • To assist and cover the Finance Business Partner for the relevant region. Additionally, will work with other regional stakeholders in financial matters.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The candidate will be a active studier (AAT,ACA,ACCA,CIMA or equivalent). Possess good excel skills (manipulation of big data, formulae, pivots). Worked in a Finance department previously. Worked with an ERP previously. Inquisitive mind to quickly grasp our systems and reports. We offer study support after a six-month probation.
