This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager within a rapidly expanding prestigious Law Firm in Manchester City Centre, which is on track for more growth! This role will offer you the opportunity to be number 1 in Finance along with being part of an impressive group of team members who bring a huge wealth of experience.

Duties:

• To liaise with the partners to oversee smooth running of and expansion of the Firm Business strategy, improvement and development.

• To grow the Finance departments in terms of heads and developing/improving current processes and implementing new.

• Working with outsourced transactional team on the day to day accounting process for both office and client account.

• Liaise as required with external accountants, SRA, Law Society and external bodies.

• To liaise with other departments and oversee the smooth financial management of the firm including cash flow, relationship with banks and to ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.

• To oversee professional indemnity and general insurance renewals.

· This role will develop into a more senior finance role when the department grows (12-18 months)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proclaim experience. Qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA). Solicitor Accounts Rules knowledge/training. Previous experience within a legal practice, ideally 3+ years. Anti-money laundering training is desirable. Ability to work on own initiative. Strong organizational skills.
