Job Description

The role will be responsible for process improvements and creating a robust controls framework, scalable to support a business with ambitious plans for growth. Over time, the Financial Controller will establish themselves as a true business partner to the wider organization helping to drive successful financial based business decisions.

Your role will involve:

• Responsible for all the company’s finance and accounting activities
• Lead the month-end timetable and process for financial reporting, driving improvements in speed and accuracy
• Implement Management Information Packs and provide insightful analysis to support commercial decision making
• Manage and support existing team of six transactionally focused individuals to create an efficient and streamlined function
• Own short-term cash flow reporting
• Assist with forecasting, implement annual budgets and long-term business modelling
• Support the CFO with financial projects including new commercial deals and future M&A activity

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a proven track record of showing a proactive approach to the implementation of rigorous controls and streamlining of processes to drive efficiencies and create a vigorous finance function.
