Job Description

Are you an experienced practice accountant who enjoys a client facing role? Are you looking for a role where you can add value to your clients, particularly through xero/cloud accounting?
 
A role where you can work closely alongside them, to help achieve their growth objectives, improve their systems and processes and provide them with critical, real time, management information?
 
A dynamic, modern and rapidly expanding accountancy practice based in Manchester is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced Accounts Senior.   The firm prides itself on adding value to its client base and is looking for a high calibre individual who strives to provide a top-class service.
 
Alongside compliance responsibilities, this role has a focus on monthly management reporting, financial forecasting models, cashflows and benchmarking reports.  You will really get to know the businesses that you work with, with a quality over quantity approach to your work.  Working with a much smaller portfolio of clients than in a typical practice, you will have the time to add value and work closely with each client to help them achieve growth and success.  

Responsibilities include:
 
·Developing relationships with a portfolio of clients and planning/managing your jobs to ensure great service
·Preparation of annual financial accounts
·Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
·Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
·Preparation and submission of ,VAT returns
·Managing credit control on behalf of clients

Benefits:
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience up to £28,000. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (25 days when ACCA qualified) and additional holidays for birthday/Christmas close down, gym membership, health plan. If you are studying ACCA, full financial support will be offered together with time off to revise and sit exams.
 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
·Preferably AAT qualified with at least 3 years practice experience ·ACCA qualified or part qualified ·Professional manner with excellent communication skills, ability to develop strong working relationships with clients
