Amazing opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a fast growing, modern Practice situated outside of Gloucester. The successful Client Accountant will have the opportunity to grow the role exponentially, taking on a personal portfolio and building lasting relationships with the client base.

As Senior Accountant you will be expected to complete Accounts to a high standard, alongside offering business advice. This Client Accountant opportunity is ideally suited to an Accounts Senior or Semi-Senior looking for career development or an experienced Accountant seeking a new environment.

You must come from general Practice, have experience with owner managed businesses. Experience with Farm Accounts is beneficial.

Preparation of Year End Accounts

Preparation of Management Accounts and recommendations

Finalising paperwork and liaising with clients

VAT returns

Bookkeeping

Corporation Tax returns

Building and maintaining client relationships

Assisting and training clients with accounting software

Assisting with Juniors

Senior Client Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Working hours: Full Time Role

Half day Friday

30 minute lunch break

Holiday: 20 + Bank Holidays

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience in similar role Preferably AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified or working towards Qualified by Experience encouraged to apply Must have minimum 3-4 years previous experience within a UK Accountancy Practice Confident in a client facing role Confident with a variety of Accounting software including Xero Ideally driver with own car due to location
