As a Business Support Accountant, you will be responsible for -
Administering payroll and management of PAYE matters; processing employee expenses
Management of the Pension Scheme
Management of SAGE database; producing a variety of reports
Preparation and submission of regular VAT returns
Preparation, presentation and submission of financial documents and reports for various purposes (participation in tenders, taxation etc) including for the employer's branches worldwide
Other duties will include but not limited to;
Financial forecasting and risk analysis
Budgeting and cost accounting
Preparation of end of year corporate tax returns and annual financial statements
Overseeing the yearly audit
Liaising with colleagues in different departments and customers when necessary
Advise senior management on all taxation and accounting issues
Keep up to date with any changing legislation
Assisting with strategic financial planning
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum 5 years accounts/finance experience Experience of working with confidential and sensitive data Experience of working with SAGE Experience in preparing end of year accounts ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
