Your new role as Management Accountant:

As Finance Business Partner you shall work closely to support business strategy and enable the transformation team to financially evaluate all new projects, providing analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance wherever possible. A role which will secure a strong link between Finance and Operations you shall be responsible for financially managing all ongoing projects, providing support to the project leads and monitoring performance against financial projections, reporting to stakeholders on a monthly basis. The Finance Business Partner will also be exposed to a number of interesting projects and will support the Budget and Forecasting process in many ways.

Main Duties:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Financial support and project accounting
• Financial modelling
• Stakeholder engagement
• Project appraisal
• Financial analysis and interpretation of data
• Quarterly and annual budget forecasts
• Supporting annual/monthly forecasting and budget setting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful Candidate shall already be an established, analytic Management Accountant with experience of both budgeting and forecasting. Qualified (ACA CIMA OR ACCA) you shall have strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. With a clear understanding of financial modelling and project appraisal you shall be driven with a commercial mind-set. Commercially savvy you shall also have had exposure to statutory reporting and a solid understanding of VAT and tax accounting.
