GSS Recruitment is working with the Manchester City Centre office of this large, UK accountancy firm to source an Audit Senior for their growing team. The successful candidate will also get the unique opportunity to gain advisory experience whilst working on non-audit engagements.

The Role:

• Leading audits from planning through to completion
• Take responsibility for audit timescales, budgets and risk management procedures
• Lead and develop junior members of the audit team
• Maintain and develop existing client relationships as the key point of contact on engagement
• Get involved with business development activities and identify opportunities for further business with existing clients
• Writing reports for Partner review
• Get involved with transactions, valuations and business modelling

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to build upon their existing Audit experience whilst also getting involved in advisory engagements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent. Audit experience within a UK practice environment. Must currently be at Audit Senior or Assistant Manager level within practice.
