This role is ideal for someone who wants to manage a small client list, whilst also leading the firm's largest audits. The Practice would be looking for the successful candidate to become a full-time manager as soon as the other audit staff have been sufficiently trained.
Key responsibilities of the job are below:-
Manage small client portfolio of limited companies up to 15m turnover with a view to managing a full client list in time
Prepare accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships up to 40m turnover
Consolidation of group accounts
Lead company/group audits up to 50m turnover and audits of regulated charities
Supervise and train more junior staff on audits
Preparation of management accounts for clients
Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to prepare accounts whether from incomplete records or client trial balance, and report direct to partner. Strong experience in auditing small and medium companies from planning to completion and reporting direct to partner. Good knowledge of accounts disclosure. Extensive client contact. Must have knowledge of Sage Line 50. Would be an advantage to have used IRIS but not essential. Must have driving license and access to own vehicle.
