Your role

The Technical Data Administrator will have responsibility for the assessment, processing and delivery of technical operations data records in support of a transition between two database systems. This will be a client-facing role with a high degree of client interaction.

Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken by Altran you will work in an environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a flexible can-do attitude. You will possess creative problem-solving skills in a team environment and comfortable with communicating clearly and efficiently throughout varying levels of both the customer and Altran businesses.

Tasks include:

• Review of historical data by programme.
• Sanitise, filter or flag potential anomalies or incorrect records for further investigation.
• Format and validate data for acceptance into new database system.
• Undertake quality check audit of team outputs.
• Interact with client for day-to-day reporting and guidance on technical matters.
• Identify, propose and (where appropriate) implement potential workflow or tool improvements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience working in aerospace/aviation sectors (or similar), ideally in an engineering organisation. Experience working with data records. Experience with writing or reviewing technical documentation. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Working knowledge of creating VBA scripts in Excel, or other workflow scripts, is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with a good level of verbal and written English. Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering significant tasks to schedule and budget; effective time management and prioritisation.
