Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts in-house
• Financial reporting (in-line with IFRS)
• Production of consolidated set of group accounts
• Oversee long-term cash flow forecasting model
• Production of management accounts
• Intercompany bank reconciliations
• Management of team of 6 in finance
• Support the Finance Director on ad-hoc projects to support the growth of the business and the attainment of the medium-term goal to float the company on AIM.

This role is based from home indefinitely, and will require occasional visits to head office as necessary. Would be beneficial to candidates living within a 20 mile radius of Chester.

Basic salary is between £55,000 - £65,000, pro-rated, and dependent on experience. In addition, there is a competitive bonus and standard pension.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified, ideally with a background in professional practice, looking for their first or second time move in industry. The role is open to senior finance professionals seeking full-time or part-time working hours. It could be perfect for an ambitious individual who is transitioning back to work following a short career break or looking for part-time hours to fit around other personal responsibilities. Previous use of Navision accounting software would be advantageous.
