Financial Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assist in the process to produce annual statutory accounts for a number of group entities

• Assist the team in the accounting for the company’s retail operation, including both daily control activity and month-end responsibilities

• Completion of multiple balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist in the compilation of internal and external business questionnaires

• Undertaking ad-hoc accounting projects and special reviews as requested

• Journal preparation and entry

• Working within strict controls environment with the drive for efficiencies and elimination of non- value adding work

As the Financial Accountant you will receive a basic salary of between £38,000 and £43,000. A chance to work for a great business for a minimum duration of 12 months which will give you wide exposure and really help grow your career.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Later stages PQ or qualified accountant with strong financial reporting and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. IT skills – strong Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience desirable). Experience with intercompany management and reconciliations. Ability to commit to a minimum 12 month temporary assignment.
