Job Description

Specific responsibilities include:

• Be the lead for business and people resource planning, monitoring and management.
• Maintain, update and improve current business planning and monitoring tools.
• Lead on developing people resource management tools and capability.
• Develop and improve management information including reporting tools and capability.
• Working with Senior Management Team in identifying areas of the business plan that require critical attention.
• Develop key performance indicators.
• Lead on the development of a business plan for the financial year (2021/2022) aligning this with emerging business strategies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Be a part or fully qualified accountant with experience of working as part of a Senior Management Team within the Public Sector. Have programme/project management experience possessing a Prince 2, Agile, APPM and/or APM qualification. Have proven experience in business process improvements, including developing and deploying tools for managing and monitoring resource allocation and usage. Be skilled in using data to gain insight and presenting it in a concise and impactful way. Possess strong communication skills to work effectively across all levels.
