As the Finance Analyst you will have the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Preparing & reporting of subsidiary & Group management accounts
• Closing month end ledgers: cashbook, sales, purchase & nominal ledgers
• Producing variance analysis with recommendations for remedial actions to senior management
• Preparing all monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Preparing monthly journals
• Posting of payroll & expenses
• Updating Purchase Ledger with accurate invoice posting
• Analysing & reporting monthly overheads
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Support stakeholders in understanding gross profits
• Contributing to the preparation of budgets & forecasts
• Preparing MI & analysis including sales & profit reports for sales team & senior management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Skilled in completing most of the duties listed above Part-Qualified Accountant, although not essential Skilled in carrying out analysis Strong MS Excel skills - pivot tables & lookups Strong communication skills Confident in liaising with senior stakeholders
