As the Finance Analyst you will have the opportunity to be involved with the following:
Preparing & reporting of subsidiary & Group management accounts
Closing month end ledgers: cashbook, sales, purchase & nominal ledgers
Producing variance analysis with recommendations for remedial actions to senior management
Preparing all monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
Preparing monthly journals
Posting of payroll & expenses
Updating Purchase Ledger with accurate invoice posting
Analysing & reporting monthly overheads
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Support stakeholders in understanding gross profits
Contributing to the preparation of budgets & forecasts
Preparing MI & analysis including sales & profit reports for sales team & senior management
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Skilled in completing most of the duties listed above Part-Qualified Accountant, although not essential Skilled in carrying out analysis Strong MS Excel skills - pivot tables & lookups Strong communication skills Confident in liaising with senior stakeholders
