As Group Management Accountant you will report to the MD with a remit including:

- Monthly Management Accounts preparation for the Groups 3 companies
- Group Consolidation
- Project & WIP reporting
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Variance Analysis & narrative
- Business Partnering with the senior management team across Production, Procurement, Sales, Operations, H&S and HR
- Financial Modelling
- Supporting bids and tendering
- Costing
- Development of a more modern & effective KPI & MI reporting pack
- Stock control and reporting
- VAT
- EC sales & Intrastat
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supervision of banking and accounting functions
- Hedging

This excellent career opportunity is complimented with benefits including a £35,000 to 45,000 basic salary, a 40 hr working week (but with flexibility on start/finish times -
as long as 40 hrs are completed per week), 23 Days Holiday, 3% pension and a company discount scheme.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Applicants will be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA and will have Project Accounting, Management Accounting and Business Partnering experience gained within the manufacturing/engineering sector - preferably for a business manufacturing for/supplying to a prestigious international customer base. You will be familiar with working closely with non-finance senior management, providing the required financial information and commercial input to support sound decision making and will be hands on with a proactive attitude and the ability to work using your own initiative and manage your own time effectively. You will have Strong IT skills - including advanced MS Excel (SQL preferred), SAGE and Microsoft Power BI would be advantageous.
