Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will include the following duties:

  • Overseeing the preparation of weekly and monthly accounts and forecasting
  • Analysis and investigation of discrepancies and variances to budget/forecast
  • Business partner the Operational Managers/ Directors to drive understanding and efficiencies
  • Provide analytical review of both financial and non-financial external returns and financial accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of annual budgets
  • Developing internal controls and processes
  • Review and update rolling forecast
  • Yearend accounts and statutory accounts reporting
  • Providing commentary to the business to back-up accounts schedules
  • Fixed asset management and depreciation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technically strong, finalist of qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Accountant. Strong technical and management accounting skills. Strong excel skills and exposure working with ERP systems  . Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers. Great first or second move from practice into industry  . Thrive in a large, fast paced, ever changing environment. Able to give financial knowledge to non-financial managers.
