You’ll provide support and training to system users and have excellent communication skills, translating complex requirements into actions, whilst being able to multitask and adapt to fast-changing priorities.
You will take a methodical and pragmatic approach to analysing current usage patterns, and identifying and developing potential enhancements & provide architectural and technical inputs to systems ensuring the changes you make deliver efficiencies and drive productivity within the business. The IT Systems Manager ownership of the company's business systems which include G Suite, Salesforce, PeopleHR, Basecamp and the Group intranet site.
IT Systems Manager Role and Responsibilities
Main Activities:
Deliver IT solutions that provide competitive advantage to support the growth of the business
Pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of technology/business processes through identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes
Conduct market research to outline new system solutions that will improve current and future business capability
Participate in the formulation and development of the Company's ICT strategy
Organise the purchase of hardware and software
Provide support, advice and training to system users
Document systems and workflows in a user-friendly way
Maintain and develop relationships with external partners
Develop excellent working relationships with all departments within the business
Comply and uphold the company's policies and procedures, such as health and safety, IT, security, disaster recovery, email and anti-virus policies
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Essential: Degree in a Business, Accounting, Computing, Mathematics discipline or years direct relevant experience Robust working knowledge and understanding of Business Systems and their application Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills The ability to turn around work efficiently and to a high standard with excellent attention to detail Adept at successfully managing a fluctuating workload and works well under pressure Desirable: Experience administering one or more of the following systems: G Suite by Google, Salesforce, PeopleHR, Basecamp Experience with managing complex multiple spreadsheets in Google Sheets and/or Excel Ability to author HTML
