Job Description

Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic individual with experience in similar level positions but also with the desire and potential to further their career. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) accountant, with a number of years PQE, who has experience in a position of leadership, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insight into business performance, profit navigation and cost reduction. They will have responsibility for forecasting, profitability analysis and strategic planning as well as oversight on monthly management accounts and board reports. A major part of the role will also be maintaining and developing business processes and controls. Being able to creating good relationships across the senior management team, and clearing relaying information is also essential.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, the successful candidate will demonstrate the drive and determination required to lead the finance team to exceed expectations.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a number of years PQE. Time spent in a similar leadership role is important and experience of the FMCG or manufacturing industry would be preferred. Demonstrable experience of business partnering and people management is also required.
