Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role is to manage a team of 4 Treasury Assistants, oversee the day to day treasury function and to meet the financial obligations of the business such as short-term cash flow model, maintain borrowings and any other capital management.

We are looking for someone who will improve and develop treasury policies and procedures to ensure the financial standing of the business is as robust as possible.

No two days are the same at Clarity, but on a typical day you will;

  • Manage and lead the treasury team.
  • Ensure all policies and processes are adhered to, as well as monitoring daily activity.
  • Effectively line manage your team and conduct regular 1-2-1s.
  • Identify improvements within the treasury process.
  • Develop and review policies within the department.
  • Attend Monthly meetings with senior management.
  • Monitor the cash flow model on a daily basis.
  • Manage all bank reconciliations.
  • Draw down from the lending facility to ensure funds are available.
  • Highlight any pinch points within the capital working headroom.
  • Ensure downloading and sorting daily receipts are posted and saved.
  • Be the point of escalation for complicated queries.
  • Build strong relationships within the wider organization.
  • Liaise with banking/credit card providers to ensure there is a strong relationship.
  • Manage FX rates to ensure rate benefits are used on any international funds over 5k.
  • Review the nominal structure to ensure it is mapped to the financial system.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have excellent team management skills, with experience managing a treasury function. Have previous experience working within a similar role. Have experience of drawing down from a lending facility. Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Have working knowledge of Microsoft applications (excel) and other back office systems. Have the ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Have excellent communication skills.
