Full-time, Temporary
Job Description

To support the business and Finance department through a period of change by managing the Cashbook, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Asset and Nominal Account ledgers. Liaise with the Group Finance and HR functions.

Support the provision of financial analysis and the understanding of financial performance. Provide finance support to projects as required.

Accurate management of all ledgers and areas of responsibility (Cashbook, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Fixed Asset Register, Nominal Ledger).

  • Support the annual audit process and statutory accounts reporting process.
  • Manage the review and payment of staff expenses.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Recharge invoices between different sites.
  • Preparation of VAT and National Statistics returns.
  • Ad hoc reporting as required.

Contract length: 3-6 months

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum level 3 AAT qualified. Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a Finance department. AR and AP experience. Nominal Ledger experience. Excellent Excel skills. ERP system experience. Good communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. FMCG and/or manufacturing experience. Able to get up to speed quickly with minimum supervision.
