Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a nationally renowned and highly distinguished firm of chartered accountants who, as a result of continued success and growth, are looking to add an Audit Semi Senior to the team in their Manchester office.

Working as an Audit Semi Senior in this prestigious firm you will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors.

The role involves assisting as part of a team on audit assignments and will allow for exposure to each stage of the process, from the initial planning stage through to completion.

Benefiting from this firm’s diverse and varied client base, you will gain experience of working with a broad array of businesses including stand-alone limited companies, group structured entities, charities and not-for-profits, and listed clients among others.

You will play an active role on each assignment you are involved with, allowing you to develop your experience with a view to progressing to a senior role and working towards leading teams on assignments in time.

The position will see you working remotely with your base being the firm’s Manchester office. The client base will consist of a host of genuinely interesting and industry leading businesses from a multitude of sectors across the Greater Manchester area.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will have commenced their ACA / ACCA studies and may be at the part qualified stage. You will have existing experience of assisting on audit assignments in your current role (whether a pure audit or mixed accounts & audit position). A personable and professional manner are key for this role you will be client facing and must ensure that the firm’s excellent service standards are always maintained. ACA or ACCA Student / Part Qualified. Experience of assisting on Audit assignments.
