Responsible for:
Performing the Financial Close Process for the quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting
Delivering high quality output for quarterly and annual regulatory reporting e.g. Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs)
Deliver process improvements and efficiencies for the financial reporting process
Assist in the maintenance and improvement of financial controls, including relationship with internal and external auditors
Ad hoc projects and information requests from Senior Managers across the business.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with Top 10 accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) with post-qualified experience working in the insurance industry. Experience in IFRS and Solvency II reporting is an advantage, as is the ability to manage expectations of Senior Managers and external stakeholders and produce high quality work within agreed deadlines.
