Job Description

 

Our client, a fast growing, PE backed property organisation based in the West End are currently seeking a professional, experienced and friendly Accounts Payable Assistant to join their fast-paced team. This role will be for a period of 6 months.

You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and supporting with maintenance of appropriate records in relation to the organisation. You will have the ability to multitask and have experience of working to tight deadlines with strong time management and strong organisational skills.
Duties:

  • Coding and processing invoices daily
  • Coding and processing Credit notes daily
  • Providing assistance with data migration and data cleansing
  • Maintenance of the finance inbox
  • Issuing remittances
  • Reviewing ageing and providing updates to the wider team
  • Reviewing and reporting of the AP report
  • Admin of the PO system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Other Ad hoc finance related tasks

The successful candidate will be/have:

  • A professional, flexible self-starter with previous accounts payable experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • The ability to work flexibly and under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Relevant finance qualification desirable
