Job Description

We are currently recruiting a number of Quality Professionals including QC’s (Quality Controllers), QA’s (Quality Auditors), and Technical Administrators for manufacturing companies within the South Wales area. Clients include the following industries: pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical, FMCG, aerospace, automotive, electronics, metal / steel etc.

Working within the quality team, you will be assisting with all quality checks and audits on both intake and out loading to ensure that all products are suited to the company’s, customers & internal specifications.

The Role

Daily coding and labelling audit, including checks in goods-in, factory and packaging for correct labelling, date coding and print quality etc.

Daily goods-in, warehouse and yard audit

Reporting non-conformances raised

Perform checks and audits in the factory and across site

Daily low care / high care production, product and paperwork audit

Daily CCP paperwork audit

Monitor product quality and ensure all products are correctly assembled.

Liaise closely with Team Leaders, and Process Manager to ensure products are within factory specifications

Temperature checks on all products in accordance with the QA temperature procedure

Co-ordinate the calibration schedule, working with the General Manager, to ensure that all temperature probes and balances are calibrated at the appropriate frequency, all scales are checked daily and the requirements of the calibration policy are fulfilled

Weekly monitoring of factory cleaning chemical concentrations

Carry out swabbing and arrange / collect samples for testing

Assist with training of factory operatives in correct policies and procedures as required

Feedback on training deficiencies

Perform periodic traceability audits as required by the General Manager.

Make recommendations for updating relevant paperwork / procedures as required.

Follow up on any actions or non-conformances using direct face-to-face contact.

Liaise with the General Manager to ensure that audits are scheduled and completed as required.

Ensure all QA reports are filed in an organised manner to enable easy retrieval when required for


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Auditing (QA) Experience of working within a manufacturing environment A high level of IT skills, proficient in Microsoft office Be able to prioritise, plan and organise workloads whilst in a busy environment Good communication and inter personnel skills
