You will be responsible for all administrative duties, including but not limited to calendar management, completing new business documents and new letters of authority with great accuracy, and supporting the advisor in all aspects of work. You will provide an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries, by phone, email and in person. On top of this, calling and chasing clients/providers for essential information/documents is expected. Packs will need to be created when information is gathered and all of the above will need to be completed in a compliant manner to the firm's standards. You will regularly input and maintain accurate client records, using any other IT systems e.g. Intelligent Office, cashflow and risk profiler.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience as an administrator within a financial services company, preferably in an IFA Admin role. You must have an eye for the detail, your attention is paramount. To be able to follow instruction and processes, repeating it to a high level of accuracy. You will need to efficiently prioritise your own workload and communicating with the IFA. Most tasks are time sensitive, so all of the above is crucial to deliver to deadlines. Regarding systems, you must be very confident with MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe PDF. You ideally would have experience working with Intelligent Office, but it is not essential.
This will be office based, with protocols in place making it Covid-19 safe. Due to the location of the office, it would be beneficial for you to drive and have a car. There is onsite parking that is free of charge to you.
What you'll get in return
The salary will be dependent on experience, ranging from £22,000 - £25,000. You will receive a 3% employer contribution pension and a discretionary bonus of 10-15%, this is based on individual and company performance. You'll get 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holiday, with an additional paid two weeks break over the Christmas period. You will be working 37.5hrs, 9am - 5:30pm with a one-hour lunch. Some flexibility will be needed to complete the tasks at hand.
