Position Overview
Our Accounts Assistant is the Ambassador with a variety of internal and external stakeholders of our hotel! Entrusted with ensuring that ad-hoc support is given to the Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions. Though skillfully trained, they never lose sight of their ultimate reasonability, to create lifelong memories for our guests.
Essential Functions & Physical Requirements
A day in the life of our Accounts Assistant demands high levels of energy. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the contributions that our Accounts Assistant accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

  • To correct any discrepancy in operating working practices by the front of house team, in regard of cash management and administration as soon as these are revealed.
  • To issue floats in accordance to the company’s policies and procedures.
  • To reconcile the cash taken/paid out against the control reports on a daily basis to ensure that the correct amount of cash is collected/paid out.
  • To reconcile the control accounts relating to cash on the balance sheet on a daily basis in conjunction with Income Audit.
  • To support the Payroll administrator in the completion of the weekly, monthly and yearly payroll activities, as and when required

  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Accounts Assistant must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Accounts Assistant are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel.
