Job Description

The role of the Management Accountant is to join a team of management accountants and perform a wide range of duties leading to the completion and ongoing control of management accounts for various brands within the group. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Monthly management accounts preparation.
• Budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
• VAT returns.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaising with management and Group head office.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors.
• Variance analysis and KPI reviews.
• Treasury management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of DDS/Media Ocean accounting system, specifically designed for the media industry would be an advantage however training will be given. Significant industry experience in a Management Accounts or equivalent position. Analytical mind, strong attention to detail, accuracy & problem solving. ACCA or CIMA qualified or at least passed finalist. Strong Excel skills. Good communicator with influencing skills. Work well under pressure with tight deadlines maintaining a good sense of humor.
