Job Description

We are now looking to in-source our Finance function with a Finance Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and drive our finance function forward during our expansion. This will cover the full spectrum of Finance, including accounts and management information preparation, year-end production, bank reporting and forecasting, whilst business partnering with key stakeholders.

Key deliverables:

• Improvement plans to the processing function
• Create new ways of working, in-line with our digitalization strategy
• Supporting the operational managers to be commercially aware and coach them on the management of their budget against target
• Recruiting a team to increase capacity over time
• Manage the outsourced payroll bureau.

Whilst the role can be carried out working from home, there will be a presence required at our offices in Chorley and the successful candidate will be expected to travel to key stakeholders at our other locations throughout the north west.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience using Xero accounting and have the ability to report to Directors, Bank and Auditors. They will also have the capability to influence management staff whilst demonstrating commercial flair.
