Accounts Assistant- Temp to Perm- up to £28,000 per annum plus benefits

Our Client, a high growth business nearing the forefront of their market, is on the lookout for an immediately available, pro active candidate to join the effort in pushing the company to the next stage.The chosen applicant will have previous experience from a similar role and will be in position to potentially start on short notice.
Key responsibilities
* Inputting supplier invoices and credit notes
* Scanning and coding of supplier invoices
* Full supplier statement reconciliations
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries
* Compile the companies supplier payment runs on a weekly basis or as determined by the line manager
* Process employee expenses claims
* Distribute and process company credit card statements monthly
* Monitor and maintain the petty cash
* Monthly purchase ledger reconciliations
* Support the AR team as and when required
* Ad-hoc reporting and accounting duties as required
* Allocate payments in accordance with customer remittances
* Chasing debts by telephone, letter and email
* Manage and escalate problem accounts when necessary both externally and internally
* Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
* Reconciling individual accounts and SL Control account if needed
* Raising invoices and Credit Notes where necessary
