ShortList have a great opportunity for an SAP Security Analyst to join an industry leading international company based in Warrington.

The successful SAP Security Analyst will provide strategic cyber security capability for the organization, including collaborating with key stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain the Information/IT Security Programme, ensuring information assets and operations are secured effectively

Responsibilities for the SAP Security Analyst:

• Assist in defining and standardize all SAP Security and Segregation of Duties related policies, procedures, workflows, and control sets based upon industry standard practices, experience, and business needs.
• Comply with risk management and compliance software solution, including maintenance of SOD Ruleset definitions, execution of SOD Violation Analysis and Reports along with the understanding of Governance Risk and Compliance related issues.
• Assist with the development of IT General Controls (ITGC) to address SOX risks and execute and administer these controls as defined in the associated control descriptions; retain organized records to demonstrate execution of the controls.
• Identify, evaluate, and assist with the implement SAP related security tools, techniques, and mechanisms to meet business needs.
• Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects and support Project Management regarding all SAP Security aspects.
• Work with internal auditors in support of risk management, compliance, and audit initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

SAP Security Training Courses & Certifications preferable. 3-5 years SAP Security Design, Implementation and Administration experience required. Extensive experience with SAP authorizations in SAP ERP Understanding of BW/BI security module. Experience with SAP authorizations in SAP HANA, SAP Fiori and SAP Business Objects is a plus but not required. Experience with Segregation of Duties (SOD) resolution and the usage of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools. Working knowledge of Role Management, User Management, and Authorization Objects Experience, building security roles and authorizations for SAP ECC systems. Working knowledge of authorization concept, including SU24 maintenance and tracing capability. Experience with Organizational Level creations and maintenance. Proven experience with analyzing and resolving complex authorization problems utilizing SAP standard tools.
