Job Description

Act as process owner for the Bill to Cash process (PAY in the new BT taxonomy), defining and owning the end-to-end process across functional, geographic and business unit boundaries, ensuring standardization and efficiency, and implementing effective controls and KPIs

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing – Controls, Technology & Systems requirements, Data model & governance, Benefits realization
  • Advise and influence the Organization Design, Role / skills required, and Training
  • Define and own detailed plans to meet programme and transformation milestones, escalating risks, issues and important decisions to the relevant governance body as required
  • Bill to Cash process transformation, from design through delivery and into BAU
  • Influencing the transformation and improvement of the Concept to Bill process across all CFUs that has an impact /repercussion on Bill to Cash
  • Ensure the Bill to Cash process is best in class, driving ongoing continuous improvement by working with the relevant operational owners to identify and implement changes (as agreed with the Design Authority) and bringing insight from industry to influence transformation
  • Direct involvement in improving our cash position company wide
  • Manage investments acquired through business case funding across the bill to cash process for change (this would cover process tower organizational costs, but also projects, licenses etc.). You’ll also lead on the overall process effectiveness and efficiency as well as accuracy of all our revenues and expenditure, and related financial control and reporting, so responsibility is significant

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Story-telling with data: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences. Business acumen: Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organizational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases). Stakeholder Engagement - Internal and External at all levels – from including Exco decision makers to external bodies (e.g. auditors, customers, suppliers, regulators etc.). Demonstrable experience in leading and driving process improvement, root cause analysis and implementation of fixes. Successfully led big and complex programmes of work that had significant value/impact on the business. Bill to Cash Process.
