Ecolab is seeking a District Manager to join our EcoSure Division, an industry leader in food safety and total quality assurance. In this position you will develop and lead a regional team of safety auditors who provide best-in-class, comprehensive on-site evaluations and training to help our customers in the food service, long term care and hospitality industries maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, guest experience and brand protection. What You Will Do:
Effectively manage audit team including meeting customer deadlines, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Successfully select, train and develop auditors
Provide ongoing calibration coaching to safety auditors through face-to-face visits and coaching phone calls
Conduct food safety, brand standards and other on-site evaluations at customer locations, to assess workplace health and safety
Partner with Account Management teams and other EcoSure functions to solve customer challenges and assist in new program rollouts
Engage with other divisions to grow the business and promote Ecolab’s Circle the Customer approach, providing industry leading comprehensive solutions
Work with the Training and Quality Assurance teams to plan and implement training programs which drive field calibration and execution
Leverage business reporting to hold team accountable to defined metrics
Grow and retain customer base within your district through management and delivery of premier customer service and sales initiatives

Position Details:
Location for this position is flexible
Percent of overnight travel required: Up to 50%
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with previous experience of food safety management
Valid, clean, driving licence
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Food safety certifications are preferred such as HACCP, ISO22000, BRC, or NEHA (RS, REHS or CP-FS) credentials. 2-5 years of experience in food safety auditing, training, development and/or field management. Business management experience including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership and coordination of people and resources. Ability to drive results that will impact the bottom line. Previous business to business sales experience. Well-versed in local food regulations / codes. Previous people management experience. Advanced degree in food science or related field. Experience in food safety and brand standards evaluations. Teaching or coaching experience, preferably in a food related field. Ability to work well under pressure and work efficiently against deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills.
