Job Description
You will identify and resolve any failures/nonconformities. Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards. In addition, you will own and manage the QMS and introduce an audit programme to ensure adherence and preparation for future audit.

In summary your role will be;
Responsible for ensuring that Farrat Products meet quality standards to deliver Customer Service Excellence.
Overall responsibility for management and effectiveness of the QMS, planning for and hosting audits and ensuring improvement actions are implemented and closed within agreed timescales
Responsible for developing an internal auditing programme and conducting audits to ensure conformance to SOP’s and quality standards.
Ensure non-conformance is effectively addressed through the corrective action process and responsible for responding to nonconformity notifications and for speedily resolving them to ensure zero impact to the customer
Lead cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis of failures and non-conformities and identify and instigate permanent Corrective Actions to solve product quality issues
Create, a Quality Dashboard with key performance indicators
Assist with training and coaching in Quality Awareness and standards and develop a quality culture
Develop a system for raw material and finished product assessment and resolve issues of non-conforming product identified through QA testing

Experience:
Quality Engineer: 2 years (Preferred)
Education:
GCSE or equivalent (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree preferred. Experience of statistical process control and using Excel, Pivot Tables, Charts. Internal auditor trained or experiences. Six sigma trained and/or knowledge of and able to demonstrate use of problem solving methodology to improve quality e.g. FMEA, 8D Methodology, 5 Whys. At least 2 years quality engineering experience probably within in a manufacturing environment.
