Job Description

Working on behalf of a company with a multi-award-winning range of vehicles and reporting to the Warranty Operations Manager, the main aim of the role of the Warranty Claims Analyst/Auditor is to audit the validity of DAF Trucks claims received from the DAF Dealer network and to assess the efficiency of the Dealer’s processes.

The role will also include supporting the warranty team by analyzing and assessing claims, performing warranty administrative tasks and responding to dealer queries as they arise. This will typically be an office based position with some time spent at dealers to perform formal audits.

Where necessary the Analyst/Auditor will be responsible for developing and implementing robust warranty regimes with the Dealer, building strong working relationships with Dealer management and staff whilst driving compliance.

The DAF Dealer Network

The Warranty Analyst / Auditor will be working with DAF Trucks UK Dealer network. This is an exciting and challenging role which holds a high level of responsibility for an experienced Warranty Analyst/Auditor looking for their next career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities of the Warranty Claims Analyst / Auditor:

  • Manage the audit process on behalf of DAF Trucks
  • Perform Warranty reviews/audits with Dealers
  • Analyze the results of the Dealer Warranty review/audit
  • Present and review with Dealer management all documentation related to the Warranty review/audit
  • Report and make recommendations for action to Dealer management resulting from the review/audit
  • Work with the Warranty team to analyze and assess claims
  • Carry out Warranty administrative tasks to include contract creation
  • Respond to dealer queries over the phone and by email supporting the complete warranty function

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of warranty policies and procedures. Knowledge and experience of Dealer operations and processes. Ideally a vehicle technical qualification and/or knowledge. Knowledge and experience of corporate reporting and analysis. Good PC skills in Word, Excel and Access. Strong leadership, organization and communication skills. An excellent relationship builder. Good judgment with a fair, open and honest approach.
