Job Description
To implement new, revised and maintain standards and systems required by ATUK and our customers for Quality and Automotive standards as required to manage our business effectively, meet customer and regulatory requirements. Auditing of processes throughout the business.
To support other departments to resolve quality problems, support trials and QA daily activity as required
Main responsibilities:
New standards introduction within time scales required with no NCR using gap analysis
Updating, logging, revisions of procedures and work instructions. Monitor through no NCR’s from audits
Continuously improve processes to make leaner or close gaps
Maintain knowledge on new and existing standards to ensure knowledge level is at requirement
Carry out audits on system and process to required plan
Close out Actions on the system to highlight status and support close out
Ensure 5S on all documents and system drives
Procedure update management and chase up issues and controls within system
Provide support for project management to ensure on time delivery of QMS activities
Supplier support and management of supplier issues
Group Document Tracking and update of group documents
Upkeep of group landscape, links and document status
Maintain and audit no Good samples/cabinets
Lead relevant meetings and prepare monthly reports on status
Investigate quality concerns to RC

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Automotive experience of QMS in a mass production environment (Inc. APQP processes). Internal/External auditing exposure and organizing of audits. Health and Safety Awareness. Quality auditor to ISO9001;2015 and IATF16949 standards, Lead auditor preferred and knowledge of VDA an advantage. Core tools knowledge and ability to implement, MSA/8D’s etc. Ability to apply problem solving techniques, to lead a team in doing so. Experience of creating procedures, process flows. Systems management experience for document control. Leading a systems implementation activity and gap analysis experience. Good attendance, flexibility and time-keeping. Tenacious approach to see solutions through. Lean manufacturing appreciation.
