Search Consultancy is urgently seeking a highly experienced, stand-alone senior Credit Controller to cover a period of absence until at least the end of the year.

This key role within a busy manufacturing business requires a confident, knowledgeable individual who will be able to pick up the demanding workload quickly and hit the ground running.

The role will involve:

• Working with the company's credit insurer to ascertain the credit risk with new and existing clients.
• Working with the credit insurer and credit risk agency to constantly monitor customer accounts and ensure that they remain within their agreed credit limits
• Manage collection of outstanding payments and aged debt
• Quickly develop relationships with key internal contacts to work with them to ensure that orders are produced in line with satisfactory credit levels
• Draw upon experience and excellent communication skills to quickly and efficiently resolve any issues that arise

The role will be based partly in the office in Trafford Park and partly working from home. Equipment for home working will be provided.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A minimum of five years experience in credit control, most recently working at a senior,' hands on' level. Excellent knowledge or credit risk management and liaising with credit insurers and credit agencies. A highly organized, calm, confident and pragmatic approach. The ability to communicate in a personable and influential manner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure credit risk is balanced with optimum levels sales. Quick to pick up new systems and processes.
