Reporting to the Finance Manager, as a credit controller you will enjoy a fast paced environment with many opportunities to add value. You will be responsible for assisting with debt management, maintaining and establishing strong client relationships and working to strict deadlines within a large, strong Finance team.
In line with continual improvement, you will have the opportunity to contribute to efficiency improvements in their systems and processes, reviewing current procedures and making recommendations where necessary.
Along with good communication skills especially on the telephone, this being 80% of the role of chasing customers/clients by telephone, some knowledge of Navision and Pulse would be an advantage as it will be required to interpret both the finance ledgers and the claim history to resolve non payments issues.

Prepare cheques for banking
Contact customers to collect outstanding invoices
Prepare customer statements in line with requests
Prepare weekly/monthly client reports as per requirements
Ensure collection of cash
Housekeeping of customer accounts
Reconciliation of key accounts
Prepare weekly statistics report for SMT
Process insure/excess refunds
Ad hoc task and reporting within team
Assist in systems and process improvements within finance
Month end tasks
