Job Description

Due to expansion, this market-leading Retail organization require an experienced, tenacious Credit Controller to join their Credit department in Blackburn on a permanent basis. This is a great time to be joining the business with real opportunity to progress within the organization.

Reporting into the Credit Control Team Leader, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding debt from key accounts for the organization working towards SLAs. You will have the ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships and work to strict deadlines.

Duties as Credit Controller

  • Chasing overdue invoices by telephone and email.
  • Setting and controlling credit limits for new and existing customers.
  • Resolving internal and external queries.
  • Allocation of payments.
  • Maintaining accurate records.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience within Credit Control. Commercially focused and ability to generate profitability through debt collection. Target driven with a keen interest in debt reduction and credit control. Ability to priorities workloads. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team. Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
