Job Description

The role is to cover maternity for a period of 12 months

The FC will be the company’s lead accountant. You will be responsible for the company’s financial reporting, such as its monthly, quarterly and annual accounts. Manage all of the company’s transactions, from accounts payable to receivable payroll, and from control accounts to general operational finance.

Main duties will include:

  • Maintain all the necessary reporting to the banks and backup system reports
  • Monthly cash flow
  • Monthly Management Accounts
  • Approve invoices that need to be paid
  • Make sure all financial statements and tables are correct and precise
  • Reconcile all bank statements and monthly financial reports
  • Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns
  • Submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Raising Sales Invoices
  • Support in the preparation so statutory accounts
  • Overseeing a small team

Our client is looking for someone who is AAT qualified and willing to undertake a 12 month fixed term contract.
