Reporting to the Finance Director your key duties and responsibilities will include:
Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters
Responsibility for monthly consolidated financial and management accounts reporting
Responsible for effective financial controls across the business
Completion and submission of statutory accounts for legal entities including branch accounts
Oversee the budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes in line with business needs
Provision of management information regarding financial performance
Manage Audit process
Liaise with key external stakeholders where required e.g. banks, auditors, tax advisors etc.
Responsibility for cash management including working capital
Management of company cash flow to ensure compliance with banking covenants
Ensure the company remains compliant with current accounting and company law requirements
Effective financial controls and management of risk
Work alongside FD/Tax Manager to deliver effective tax compliance and tax planning
Continual improvement of systems, processes and procedures including business systems (Access)
Carry out initial and ongoing compliance checks
Ensuring all Company returns are submitted in a timely fashion in line with current legislation
