Assistant Accountant
Job Description
Main Job Role:
- Reporting to the Financial Controller
- Responsible for a range of accounts duties across the sales, nominal & purchase ledgers
- Matching, batching and coding invoices/credit notes and posting to ledgers
- Assisting with processing the payroll for weekly and monthly employees
- Control of cash receipts within the business including full reconciliation and banking alongside responsibility for petty cash
- Credit control duties
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least 18 months accounts experience Ability to prioritise a busy workload Strong attention to detail Enjoy working as part of a team
