No to days are the same at Clarity, but on a typical day you will;
Proactively chase customers to ensure invoices are recovered in a timely fashion
Recover outstanding debts through relevant collection methods such as email, telephone
Maintain a significant debtor portfolio in both volume and value
Drive recommendations of referral for further action when full collections techniques are exhausted to recover bad debts
Reconcile large volumes of data to understand which transactions are in query or overdue
Document any queries within the system and maintaining the progression of those queries
Improve interactions with customers to strengthen key relationships
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure issues are dealt in a correct and efficient way
Work as part of a team to ensure additional credit control tasks are undertaken
Adhere to the organisation’s policy and procedures on information security and take whatever actions are required to safeguard data and assets.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have previous credit control experience is essential Have strong Excel processing skills, with the ability to analyse data and create accurate reports Have previous experience in a B2B environment Have knowledge of large volumes of transactions Have a strong understanding of credit management Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Have the ability to self-motivate and have a flexible approach to work Have working knowledge of Microsoft applications (excel) and other back office systems. Have the ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives Have the ability to think logically, consider all relevant aspects and carry out basic analysis on information Demonstrate excellent attention to detail Be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Have excellent communication skills
