Job Description

The Business Support Centre provides key support to all of Royal Mencap Society including Payroll, HR, Recruitment, Finance, IT, Operational Support and many more key services. We are a leading learning disability charity giving a voice to people with a learning disability, their families and carers.

We are looking for someone who would be happy to work as part of a rolling rota between the hours of 8:00 - 18:00 (8:00 to 16:00 initially) 5 days per week with three other administrators.

Working effectively and collaboratively as part of a team you will provide administrative support to line managers and employees over the phone and via email. You will ensure you deliver a high quality, efficient and professional customer service to all stakeholders. A self-motivated and competent administrator you will be able to work at a fast pace and to tight deadlines with minimal direction.

You will be required to primarily work on our Document Management project focusing on segregation of documents by document type / retention policy and scanning and indexing them for future retrieval whilst setting aside those documents for destruction. You may be required to support on other facility tasks from time to time as per the job description.
