Job Description

As the Finance Manager for the department reporting to the Owner/ MD who is an Accountant by trade you will support him with duties up to trial balance level. If you have more to offer then that is gracefully accepted. You will be carrying out Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, VAT Returns, Payroll end to end, pensions, VAT returns and overseeing finance. You will have an Assistant who will be inputting however in terms of payroll and purchase ledger data etc.

Hours are 8am to 4.30pm with 3pm finish on a Friday

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be competent up to Trial balance level, be happy and able to carry out bookkeeping duties and support the MD. You will be accounting systems literate and have at least intermediate use of excel. You will be confident in the role and show efficiency and personality, strong communication skills and upbeat persona.
