We have been instructed on an Accounts Assistant or Semi Senior opportunity with one of the most reputable firms of accountants in Leeds.

The successful candidate will undertake a varied role which will include the preparation of year end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships as well the associated tax returns for clients from a range of business sectors.

The ideal candidate will have good experience of working within practice, be AAT Qualified (or studying towards) and have good working knowledge of Sage and/or Xero accountancy software.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
• Preparation of tax computations (personal and corporate)
• Preparation of VAT Returns & client bookkeeping
• Dealing with HMRC
• Liaising with clients directly
