Job Description

Your new role

Your duties will vary but will mainly include covering reception, inputting data on to school systems such as SIMS, RM-Integris or Bromcom and general clerical duties such as putting together the newsletter, general typing, photocopying etc. You will be dealing with teaching staff and parents both face to face and over the phone and working on ad hoc tasks as directed by the Business Manager. Generally, the roles will be full time and the hours will be approx 8am-4pm, term time only. All roles are temporary and can be from 1 week cover up to 1 year.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience within a school is essential. Ideally you will have worked as a school administrator. You must have previously worked in an admin role and have strong clerical experience. It would be an advantage if you have an Enhanced DBS Certificate which is registered on the Update Service however you can put this in to process with Hays Education. References will be requested.
