Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Entering all purchase and expense receipts into QuickBooks
  • Working closely with our sales ledger manager and external accountant
  • Providing regular up to date profit and loss reports
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Inputting weekly wages journals
  • Working within QuickBooks online and Sage Line 50

A full UK driver's license and access to a vehicle would be preferred.

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide plenty of hand gel (one for each desk) and have situated all desks to maintain the government's guidelines.

Experience:

  • bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)
  • QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
As the successful applicant for the bookkeeper vacancy you will ideally have prior experience of working within an industry environment. Formal qualifications would be beneficial however not essential and candidates qualified by experience will be considered. Good IT knowledge is essential including Microsoft Excel and ideally Sage. Knowledge of QuickBooks online software will be highly beneficial however again no essential as training will be provided.
