Puro Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a small, local accountancy practice friendly practice based on the west side of York in their search for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their practice.

As a Bookkeeper you will undertake a varied role in which you will be responsible for the, the preparation and submission of VAT returns and undertaking all aspects of client bookkeeping in addition to a small pay run portfolio

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for VAT Return preparation and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of cloud accounting products.
• Good communication skills.
• Processing payrolls and completion of CIS Returns.
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary.
• A strong team player.
• Experience of working in practice is essential.
