Job Description

We are looking for a full time and permanent Accounts/Office assistant to help with the preparation of the Management Accounts, Payroll and HR as well as any other ad hoc office duties which will include dealing with customers.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Office Manager and will be involved in the following duties:

Prepayments and Accruals.

Petty Cash Reconciliation.

Barclaycard Reconciliation.

Monthly Payments Analysis.

Deliveries Analysis.

Journal Input.

Cash Book Reconciliation.

Input of Expense Invoices.

Input of Credit Notes.

Sales Order Input.

Payroll/HR.

Stock Control / Stock Take / Reconciliation.

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • accounts assistant: 1 year (Required)

Administrative Duties:

  • Carrying out requests from management as needed
  • Answering emails and sorting post
  • Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary

Financial Duties:

  • Expense reports
  • Processing payments
  • Payroll
  • Purchasing

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Whilst a background in the retail sector would be an advantage the willingness to learn and the ability to respond to the demands of a busy office will be essential. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or have book keeping experience. Good rates of pay and the opportunity to be key member of our team awaits the right candidate.
